• (X) Initial concept: 2020
  • I had the idea for this story during the heigh of my obsession with Pet Sematary. It began as a D&D adventure where the character’s investigated a remote village where anyone laid to rest in the SOIL rises from the dead.
• (X) Prework: 2023
  • ~12,000 words establishing the first act.
  • Did a bunch of research on pottery and the way medieval people in Sweden and Norway lived in small rural communities.
• (—) First Draft: November 2025
  • Target: ~40,000 words.
  • In progress. Chugging along nicely.
