Stone, Ash, and Soot #

An on going Sword and Sorcery series of short fiction #

Legendary pulp editor, Lin Carter, wrote and released two iconic Sword and Sorcery stories “Children of the Dragon” and “Pillars of Hell” which were connected not by characters, but by a people. Following a different generation in every tale, the aim was to chronicle a tribe’s entire history.

Unfortunately, Carter did not finish this series, which was intended to be about five stories in total. Stone, Ash, and Soot is my attempt to write pre-historic Sword and Sorcery in the world of Dusk and Dawn in a similarly interconnected format.
