Welcome to my portfolio! #
Greetings,
You find yourself in this strange and faraway place because I have invited you. This is a private site, not accessible other than with a direct link. Don’t lose that, btw! I created this site because I needed a single repository to store my writing to send to prospective employers and curious folks. I have too many websites, so consider this the website to end the need for all my other websites.
How to use the archive #
If you look to the left, you will see a table of contents full of meticulously organized junk. Everything should be there. You can also use the search box, which should locate entries by name or category.
For example, you can find my short story “Runners” by simply typing in Runners. If you’re not sure what story is called but you know it’s a short story, you can type in Short Fiction and all my short stories should come up! Nice and simple, how websites should be.
What’s on this site? #
Basically anything I want to share with people. Some of the entries have been published to other places. Some of them I’m currently sending out for publication (and since this is a private website for my ((and your)) personal use, no one can tell me not to put unpublished stories here.
Really, anything I want people to see is here. I’m casting a wide net find my place in the workforce as a writing person, so that means I need to have a few different flavors of portfolio. My goal is to make this the One-Stop James D. Mills On-a-Stick Shop (Is that weird? I think that might be weird. Bah! I’ll fix it post.)
